0ver a decade much has not been done by either Government and other institutions regarding the deplorable situation in accessing justice , addressing Human Right violation and Abuses, advocacy on the economic social and cultural right in the northern part of Sierra Leone and beyond . Therefore a group of like-minded paralegals and Human right Activist that have worked with law firms and Human right organizations came together in 2010 and established the Legal Access Centre to support governments effort and other related organizations in the protection and promotion of legal services at community level and beyond. Legal Access Centre is independence non-political non-profit making organization that caters for the wellbeing of all sierra Leoneans.
